PARISH OFFICE  hours Mondays 8:00-12:00; Wednesdays 8:00-12:00 and Thursday 8:00-12:00. 

Office hours may vary due to things that may come up.

IMPORTANT CONGREGATIONAL MEETING will be held on Sunday, May 4th after the worship service. We will discuss the transfer of piece of land to the Historical Society and share with the congregation the offer we received on the parsonage. We hope everyone can be there.

 


 THE CHURCH due to increased activities around the church and surrounding area. The church will be locked at all times, except for Sundays and during office hours, which are listed above.  

OUR  PASTOR /LAY PERSON for MAY - Mark Giesen is assigned to preside at Emmanuel .  He will preach every Sunday,

 except the 4th Sunday of the month. Pastor Kampa Pastor Kampa will preside the 4th and 5th Sundays of the month.

PASTOR PAUL KAMPA has agreed to take on being our Interim Pastor here at Emmanuel. He will be with us one Sunday a month. Pastor Kampa will visit shut-ins, and if they would like will give them Holy communion. If you would need to reach Pastor Kampa he maybe be reached at 1-570-966-3399.

​

CHOIR REHEARSAL has begun. Rehearsals are  Wednesday evenings at 7:00pm.  Coleen invites anyone who can sing to join in the choir, if you are interested in joining the choir please see Coleen so she is sure to have enough music ready for everyone.

​

COFFEE/COOKIE SOCIAL will be held the first Sunday of every month, following the worship service. There is a sign-up sheet in the Ramp entrance on the bulletin board. if you and your family are interested please pick a Sunday and sign-up to host. Please keep it simple. We would like to continue to provide this time to sit back relax and get to know each other. Next Social will be  Sunday - May 4 - Nancy Page will host.

ANNUAL YARD SALE will be held on Friday, May 2nd from 8:00am-3:00pm and Saturday, May 3rd, from 8:00am-1:00pm. Please start to collect your unwanted items and place on stage in social hall. There will also be bake goods and other foods available to purchase. E need volunteers to help set up help and tear down.

​

MOTHER'S DAY  banquet will be held on Monday evening, May 12, 2025 at 6:00pm, cost will be $10.00. Sign-Up sheet will be on Ramp entrance bulletin board.

​

YOUTH ADULT FELLOWSHIP: If you consider yourself a young adult, you are invited to join in a time of conversation, study, and prayer every last Wednesday of the month. It's online! Contact jim@campmountluther.org for more information.

                     who helped in anyway with the Egg project. We will meet at 5:30pm. Please bring a covered dish to share.

May    12 - Mother Day's Banquet, at 6:00pm

May     18 - Worship service at 9:00am

                                 Yoga classes meet Thursdays at 3:30p.m.

WE WILL ONCE AGAIN do Christmas Shoeboxes we thank everyone who helped last year with the project. It is a good service project for Emmanuel. Boxes will be placed on the stage for you to drop your donations in. April we will collect stuffed animals. March was small Craft kit items. January was hats, gloves. February, we  collected fashion accessories. boxes will remain on the stage until November.

 COMMUNION TO SHUT-IN MEMBERS - Some members of the congregation have received training to bring communion to shut-in members. This important ministry of hospitality and connection will help to bring the message of God's grace to those who can no longer attend worship. If you or someone you know would like to receive the sacrament of the Lord's Supper, please contact the church office so that you or they can be added to the schedule of visitations. However for the time being Visitations are being seen to by  Pastor Kampa. If you have anyone to add please let Cindy or Pastor Kampa know.
